Which Kit Car?
FEBRUARY ISSUE
IN THE FEBRUARY ISSUE
AUTOTUNE
AUTOTUNE SPOTLIGHT WHICH KIT CAR?’s February issue contains our usual mix of kit car material. For starters, Ian Stent made his first ever visit to 35-year old Autotune. While there, he drove the Ford Escort based Gemini and Jaguar based Aristocat. Kit cars of the old school, they no doubt have an appeal all of their own.
BURTON DRIVEN
BURTON DRIVEN Another slightly quirky car this month is the Burton. Of Dutch origin, it’s a Citroën 2CV based traditional tourer… and a very convincing one at that. Its professional styling and high quality make this a surprisingly tempting offering.

SNAKE PIT
THUNDER ROAD CARS Cobra coverage this issue includes Peter Filby’s visit to Thunder Road Cars, a firm which can seemingly carry out any work on any Cobra replica. The Magnum that made it to the cover is also featured in Snake Pit. With Ford 302cu in V8 power (that’s 325bhp), it was every inch the big-inch bad-boy it appears.
MARCOS HISTORY
Historic correspondent Martyn Morgan Jones took a look at the early days of Marcos. It’s a fascinating tale of ups and downs and makes gripping reading. Make sure you don’t miss it!

AND THERE'S MORE...
We also have readers’ cars (Stuart Taylor Locoblade and Dakar 4x4), an instalment of our in-house Marlin 5EXi build, mystery cars, club news and a nine-page round-up of news from the Exeter show.

Back issues are available on 01737 222030.
