APRIL ISSUE
IN THE LATEST ISSUE
DAX TOJEIRO
AUTOTUNE SPOTLIGHT DJ Sportscars’ latest Dax Tojeiro demonstrator is a bit of a monster. It’s powered by an 8.2-litre Chevrolet V8, covers the 0-60mph sprint in a claimed sub-4 seconds and can exceed 180mph! What’s more, it’s the first demo to feature the company’s De Dion rear suspension and unique camber compensation system at the front. It might be Cobra shaped, but it’s all-new beneath the skin.
RAW UK
BURTON DRIVEN Peter Filby visited Raw UK recently to see how the business of making Strikers is undertaken since Sylva Autokits sold the project to Mel Coppock’s Herefordshire-based firm. Naturally, he also sampled one of the chargers on the road.

BOOM TRIKES
THUNDER ROAD CARS Bulldog Specialist Vehicles imports German Boom Trikes kits and is on a mission to educate the UK public that not all trikes are back-yard lash-ups. In fact, as Adam Wilkins found out, the quality of these Volkswagen Beetle-powered three-wheelers is up there with the very best conventional kit cars. Read more in our latest issue.
OUR MARLIN 5EXi DRIVEN
Ian Stent drives our own Marlin 5EXi, along with two factory built examples. See how John Watson’s build, powered by a 1.8-litre Rover K-series VVC engine, compares with factory cars powered by standard 1.6- and 1.8-litre units. It’s a fascinating comparison.
AND THERE'S MORE...
Not enough? Then there’s also part two of our very popular Marcos history, a reader’s Pilgrim FT, Cobra news in Snake Pit, Club Chat and all the usual regulars. The April issue is on sale from Friday 18th March. If you have any trouble finding it in the shops, call us on 01737 222030.
